Dr Shantanu Shubham is an alumni of National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences(NIMHANS), Bangalore and has completed his DM Neurology in 2015. He was Consultant Neurologist in Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata between 2015 to 2018 before joining MSH Kasba, Purnea. He has expertise in Stroke , Movement disorder, Eplipepsy, Headache and Neurorheumatological disorders.

Under Dr Shantanu’s guidance at MSH Kasba we have Dedicated Stroke response Team with 24×7 CT and MRI facility which helps us to assess all stroke patients in real time and initiate IV Thrombolysis for eligible patients in Golden window period . We have extended the benefit of Clot busting inection Tenecteplase to more than 50 stroke patients who presented to MSH Kasba emergency within 4.5 hours of stroke onset for excellent outcomes.

We also have a Dedicated Electrophysiology Lab which performs all Neurological tests like EEG, Video EEG, NCV ,EMG and RNST.
We also have facility for evaluation of cerebral Palsy children and hearing assessment through BERA and VEP tests.
